...there was something called music. Not just any music mind you, but music that actually made you feel. It didn't matter that it made you feel sad, happy, afraid, angry or depressed. The fact is it made you feel something. You identified with the music that captured whatever emotions, situations or state of beliefs you were going through at the time. No matter what was happening you could lock yourself in a room, put on headphones and temporarily detach yourself from this physical existence. And nothing, no one could feel what you were feeling. And you could never quite explain yourself to someone when describing how that music made you feel.....

Some of this music survives today but is in danger of dying out. Most has been replaced. Or rather reused. Originality and individual thought have given way to plastic idols and recyclable sounds. Almost all music today has no integrity or originality. Your God is on the television. They're a pop singer. They're a culture clone. The words are meaningless. The music is forgettable. Their song is a commercial. Endorsed by the company of your choice. Whatever the price, anyone can be bought. All cut from the same mold and all churned out by the same bubble-gum factory. You get nice, neat packages of pretty-boy bands and pretty girl singers who sing, play songs (not written by them, of course), do dance numbers, and who have no problem using their songs in a car commercial.

What is wrong here? Is this all there is? Fortunately, no. But good music usually doesn't just happen. You have to look for it. You have to be smart enough to look for it. If your little minds can only handle throwaway pop songs then this band is not for you. Go and run to the nearest mall and purchase the pretty-made plastic-molded mindless pop music of your choice. Have fun turning off your mind and filling it with garbage. However, if you are interested in expanding your musical mind, then welcome to our band's website and thank you for coming.
